IITs may give best engineers and IIMs may give best managers to Industry but I feel proud in stating that NITIE produces a TechnoManager who not only uses his/her engineering aptitude to understand the problems and processes in detail but also applies the managerial skills to handle complex projects and situations.....

....So many stories have been written about IITs and IIMs but not much is known about NITIE… A hilly terrain just behind IIT BOMBAY with its picturesque surrounding completely invisible from outside… There are so many stories....stories of success, achievement, love, passion, friendship, fun, commitment etc. that the green landscape, the hills and the stones, the trees and the beautiful birds have witnessed over the years and are eager to tell the world…in the language others are not able to comprehend.....NITIE is like a treasure box hiding so many precious jewels…This book is an attempt to explore the unexplored – "The NITIE" through my eyes…

….I have lots of things to tell her…lots of things to share with her…lots of things I plan for…and some not thought of….but when I am with her and she starts those stupid jokes the ones I hate most but love to hear them for ever…A puzzle…An anomaly… Ah yes, the Smile so natural…A heart so lovely…and a soul so pure…that makes me forget everything....An illusion....I am yet to come out of.....
